“There’s nothing you can do about it, it’s always going to be that way. You just have to accept it and move on.”
And so today when I saw them all come back it was a sign the summer had begun, and my stomach turned as I saw them covered in sweat and all tucked up. It makes me sad for the ones left behind, but at least my girl doesn’t have to witness those heinous things anymore.
You will never catch me on one of those rides.
